SelectDB has raised nearly $50 million in angel round of funding

Cloud-native realtime data warehouse SelectDB has recently completed an angel round of funding of nearly 50 million US dollars. The investors are IDG Capital, Sequoia Capital China, etc.

SelectDB Inc. was established in January 2022. The founding team is the core developers of Apache Doris, with more than 80% of the active contributors of Apache Doris. The company will continue to invest heavily in the open source project Apache Doris, driving the community forward and making Apache Doris the "MySQL of data analytics". At the same time, the company will also develop SelectDB, a cloud-native data warehouse based on the Apache Doris kernel, to provide customers with out-of-the-box data warehouse services across all clouds.
