Today, we officially launched SelectDB Cloud 1.0. China users can apply for a trial. SelectDB Cloud is a cloud-native data warehouse that runs on multiple clouds and provides consistent usage experience across multiple clouds. Currently, it supports running on Alibaba Cloud. It is expected to complete support for Tencent Cloud and Huawei Cloud in July, and support for other clouds will be completed in succession. SelectDB Cloud supports Apache Doris clusters running on customer VPCs and SelectDB VPCs. It provides a visual management tool for cluster upgrades, configuration changes, and capacity scaling, monitoring of cluster status, and an easy-to-use SQL query user interface.
At the same time, we also released the technical support service SelectDB Support. Whether you use the open source Apache Doris, or the cloud data warehouse of SelectDB Cloud, you can use SelectDB Support for free and paid subscription. We have launched an innovative quarterly subscription service for paid technical support, allowing you to experience our professional technical support services at the lowest cost.
It is expected that in October, we will release SelectDB Cloud 2.0 Beta based on the new and improved cloud-native core. Starting from 2.0, SelectDB Cloud will also provide services on AWS.
